\n\tPinkPantheress<\/a>\u2019 \u201cStateside,\u201d with Zara Larsson<\/a>, jumps two spots to No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s Pop Airplay<\/a> chart (dated June 20).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe coronation marks the latest milestone for the hit, which surged after Alysa Liu skated to it in her exhibition performance at the Milano Cortina Olympics Feb. 21, even emulating<\/a> some of PinkPantheress\u2019 choreography from the song\u2019s video. Two days earlier, Liu became the women\u2019s figure skating champion, earning the U.S. its first gold medal in the event since 2002.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn March, \u201cStateside\u201d twirled to the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, reaching No. 6, and spent a week atop both the Billboard Global 200<\/a> and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.<\/a> charts. It has also topped the Hot Dance\/Pop Songs<\/a> chart for 16 weeks running.<\/p>\n

\n\tEach act leads Pop Airplay for the first time, following one prior top 10 apiece. PinkPantheress\u2019 \u201cBoy\u2019s a Liar, Pt. 2,\u201d with Ice Spice, hit No. 7 in 2023, while Larsson sent \u201cNever Forget You,\u201d with MNEK, to No. 5 in 2016. Concurrent with \u201cStateside,\u201d Larsson is scaling the chart with her third top 10, \u201cMidnight Sun,\u201d which ascends 5-4 for a new high.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Larsson charts four titles on Pop Airplay for a sixth week \u2014 she\u2019s the only act to achieve the feat this year. Alongside her two top 10s, the revived<\/a> \u201cLush Life\u201d holds at is No. 28 high, and Tyla\u2019s \u201cShe Did It Again,\u201d on which Larsson is featured, keeps at its No. 29 best.<\/p>\n

\n\tKIIS-FM Los Angeles and KYLD San Francisco, both iHeartMedia Pop Airplay reporters, are among the leaders in plays to date for \u201cStateside,\u201d with the company\u2019s vp of pop programming Mark Adams having recently praised<\/a> Larsson\u2019s \u201cjoyous dance and synth-pop\u201d among \u201cthe great variety of artists and songs across the format right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
