‘How dare you speak to my daughter that way!’ Mikey Graham launches attack on Kieran Cuddihy and RTÉ

Mikey Graham has re-entered the limelight in recent times to reunite with his Boyzone bandmates, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, and Keith Duffy.

The Irishmen made fans’ dreams come true with their One For The Road Tour at the Emirates Stadium in London earlier this month.

Mikey’s daughter, Sienna, told EVOKE, ‘No one will ever know the extent it took my dad to get on stage’ after fans voiced their concerns for Mikey’s health after he sat on a stool and sang just four songs.

It was then Kieran Cuddihy’s chance to interview Sienna on RTÉ’s Liveline, during which he asked her about the ‘backlash’ and ‘negative reviews’ Boyzone’s performances received.

The dad-of-two said critics are ‘entitled to their opinion’, before asking Sienna about the ‘nasty’ commentary directed at her dad online.

Sienna mostly side-stepped the question, telling Kieran how ‘proud’ she is of Mikey, but the Boyzone star has now launched a social media tirade against Kieran and RTÉ, saying: ‘How dare you speak to my daughter that way!’

On Friday, Mikey shared a clip of himself on stage, taken by somebody backstage, where he was met with an eruption of cheers and applause from the crowd.

‘I was told there was apparently some backlash mentioned on Irish radio,’ Mikey began. ‘I can’t see any there, can you? Or is that just the usual media lust for bloodsport to gain listenership, even if it’s not true?

‘Shame on RTÉ NATIONAL IRISH RADIO. Try to kick a guy when he’s down!,’ he wrote.

Sharing a separate clip of the moment from a different angle, Mikey wrote: ‘Don’t see much backlash here either!

‘Woe is not me. I’m a quiet, private man, but when a stupid and cruel excuse of a so-called talk show host tries to insult my daughter on live radio about her father, you’d better be ready for backlash from me!

‘You’re no kind of man at all to ask that question to a young girl!’

‘I’d like to see Kieran Cuddihy do what I did and see how he’d get on up there in front of a stadium,’ Mikey continued. ‘What a cruel fool and idiot of a man! How dare you speak to my daughter that way!’

Sienna previously told EVOKE: ‘No one will ever know the extent that it took my dad to get to this point and get onto this stage and perform to many people in that way, so as his daughter, as I can say is that I am incredibly proud of him and that is the bottom line.

I think with the (Sky) documentary and everything – I said this before – I think coming into the shows, everyone has come in with so much awareness of what everyone has been through over the years and I almost feel like that because of that awareness, it also enhances the pride that we all feel.’

‘This kind of shows that you can go through struggles and come out the other end, and that there is so much joy to be had within this world, and starting fresh,’ Sienna continued.

‘I’m just incredibly proud, that’s all I have to say. Obviously, when you see comments and stuff… like anyone, it is my dad at the end of the day, and I am his daughter. I am so incredibly proud of everything he has achieved, and that is the bottom line.’

‘How dare you speak to my daughter that way!’ Mikey Graham launches attack on Kieran Cuddihy and RTÉ…

[28
93,61,60,278
post-498668","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-music","tag-entertainment","tag-ie","tag-ireland","tag-music
["GET
