Brooklyn Beckham’s representatives have released a statement after his younger sister, Harper, was spotted arriving at his home. The Beckham family had descended on Los Angeles as their father, David<\/a>, was honoured with a coveted star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n Harper made an attempt to visit her elder brother<\/a> while the family were in the city. However, any hopes of a reconciliation were swiftly dashed as Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen, leaving Harper with little option but to leave empty-handed without ever stepping inside.<\/p>\n It is believed, however, that Harper may have left a letter behind. Brooklyn<\/a> was in New York City \u2013 on the opposite side of the United States \u2013 while his family were soaking up their trip to Hollywood to celebrate Sir David’s achievement, something made apparent by an Instagram post showing him out for a run.<\/p>\n Brooklyn Beckham posted an Instagram Story of himself on a run in New York, proving he was out of town during the impromptu visit<\/p>\n Brooklyn’s team have now broken their silence following the emergence of pictures showing a crestfallen Harper. Speaking to Page Six, a spokesperson for the eldest Beckham child said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”<\/p>\n The Beckhams have long been plagued by reports of bitter family rifts, with aspiring chef Brooklyn repeatedly distancing himself from his relatives.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, he publicly accused his family of attempting to “ruin” his marriage to Nicola, and even took to Instagram to declare he had no desire to mend bridges, instructing his parents to contact him exclusively through legal representatives, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n Despite this, Harper was seen heading straight for Brooklyn’s home shortly after the Hollywood ceremony in what seemed to be a peace offering.<\/p>\n In photographs obtained by Page Six, Harper was spotted approaching the gates on her own, still wearing her pink silk gown from the ceremony. The 27-year-old is currently estranged from David and Victoria, as well as his brothers Cruz and Romeo, having blocked all of them on social media.<\/p>\n However, the situation is “very different” when it comes to his 14 year old sister, whom Brooklyn has reportedly tried to shield from the family breakdown. Nevertheless, an insider acknowledges that the “fundamental logistics of his little sister living under the same roof as his parents…. makes things very hard, contact-wise”, and their relationship isn’t what it once was.<\/p>\n Brooklyn’s estrangement from his family deepened even further when he didn’t turn up to his father’s Walk of Fame ceremony on Friday. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”<\/p>\n Earlier in the year, Brooklyn furiously spoke out, declaring: “I do not want to reconcile with my family.
