Lady Louise Windsor<\/a>, the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, skipped Trooping the Colour for the second year in a row.<\/a> Trooping the Colour 2024 was her last time appearing<\/a> at the event.<\/p>\n Despite being the youngest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, Lady Louise keeps a relatively low profile. She is currently studying at the University of St. Andrews<\/a>, where her cousin Prince William famously met Kate Middleton<\/a>, and on occasion joins the royals on holidays. She was not at Easter<\/a> this year, however, nor at her cousin Peter Phillips\u2019s wedding to Harriet Sperling<\/a> this past weekend. Her 18-year-old younger brother, James, Earl of Wessex, attended both events.<\/p>\n Lady Louise, right, talking to her proud parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n Lady Louise Windsor takes part in the Pol Roger Meet of the British Driving Society on day 4 of The Royal Windsor Horse Show 2026.<\/p>\n Last month, she was photographed working at the Royal Windsor Horse Show<\/a>, and took part in the carriage driving meet on the final day of the event. According to Hello<\/a>, Louise took on a part-time job at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, a favorite event of her late grandmother, for which she received a paid salary. \u201cDuchess Sophie and Prince Edward provided Lady Louise and her brother James with as normal an upbringing as possible, and this is clearly reflected in her work ethic,\u201d a source told the publication. \u201cShe is very grounded and down-to-earth, you wouldn\u2019t know she was a royal. It was her idea to ask for a part-time job.
