Two mystery Lotto players have won over \u20ac22k each after narrowly missing out on the \u20ac3.7m jackpot.\"One<\/p>\n

A search is underway to find Ireland’s two big Lotto winners <\/a>who came remarkably close to sharing the jackpot prize of \u20ac3,761,162 in Saturday night’s draw.<\/p>\n

They narrowly missed out on the top prize, but both players still secured \u20ac22,986 each by matching five of the six numbers, plus the bonus. The winning combination was 1, 16, 17, 26, 27, 35 and bonus 24.<\/p>\n

As the mystery winners have yet to come forward, the National Lottery<\/a> has issued an appeal for all players to carefully check their numbers. As part of the appeal, they have confirmed exactly where the golden tickets were purchased.<\/p>\n

It’s been revealed that one ticket was purchased on Saturday, June 6 from Walsh’s SuperValu Cahirciveen on the Valentia Road in Cahirciveen, Co Kerry<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And the other Quick Pick ticket was bought on the day of the draw, from Fallon’s Mace, Sligo Gate in Collooney, Co Sligo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The National Lottery<\/a> is urging players in these areas to check their tickets carefully.<\/p>\n

Spokesperson Emma Monaghan said: “There is plenty of excitement in Kerry and Sligo after two Lotto players each scooped five-figure prizes in Saturday night’s draw.<\/p>\n

“We’re encouraging anyone who bought their ticket in Walsh’s SuperValu Cahirciveen or Fallon’s Mace in Collooney to check their tickets very carefully today and contact our Prize Claims team!”<\/p>\n

These winners are advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact National Lottery<\/a> prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of the prize.<\/p>\n

As there was no winner of the \u20ac3,761,162 jackpot on offer, Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated \u20ac4 million.<\/p>\n
