No matter how you felt about<\/a> Steven Spielberg\u2019s latest alien-centric epic, Disclosure Day<\/a>, there\u2019s no denying that it\u2019s very thought-provoking throughout or that its ending raises some big questions that don\u2019t get answered<\/a>. That ambiguity is part of the point, of course, and Disclosure Day star Emily Blunt\u2014whose powerful performance is another of the film\u2019s undeniable elements\u2014isn\u2019t so sure a sequel is necessary to untangle anything left unresolved.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, we would all be beside ourselves to get back together and be with Steven again,\u201d she said to Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cBut we\u2019ll have to see just how this story hits people and if it\u2019s wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

That makes sense; if Disclosure Day reaches a certain box-office level (the opening weekend was respectable<\/a>, but not record-breaking), sequel talk will become inevitable. However, Blunt also said, \u201cI think there\u2019s way more room for discovery in this life-or-death race between those who believe the truth belongs to people and the forces who are trying to keep the secrets concealed. I think there\u2019s more to explore there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blunt\u2019s co-star Colman Domingo agreed and also expressed curiosity about what happens in the movie\u2019s world after the big reveal that aliens are real. \u201cWhat happens to the government? What happens to religion? What happens to anything that we know? I\u2019m very curious about that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
