{"id":502966,"date":"2026-06-16T18:56:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T18:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/502966\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T18:56:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T18:56:09","slug":"kerry-individual-and-business-named-in-revenues-tax-defaulters-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/502966\/","title":{"rendered":"Kerry individual and business named in Revenue\u2019s tax defaulters list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Kerry person and business have been named in the Revenue\u2019s list of tax defaulters.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent list details cases finalised between January and March this year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/corporate\/press-office\/list-of-defaulters\/index.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Revenue commissioners<\/a> published a list of 86 people for the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>It shows nationally, the courts imposed fines of over \u20ac367,000 ( \u20ac367,329.50) in the cases, while 21 settlements worth \u20ac117 million are listed.<\/p>\n<p>An individual and a business with addresses in Kerry have appeared on the Revenue\u2019s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiokerry.ie\/news\/tax-defaulters\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tax defaulters<\/a> list.<\/p>\n<p>The Wickham Pub Company Ltd, with an address of Unit 2, Carraig House, Matt Talbot Road, Tralee was charged by Revenue with a failure to hold a current liquor licence.<\/p>\n<p>The report shows the bar which trades as The Wickham was fined \u20ac632.50.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a Killarney resident was fined for the possession of an unregistered vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Luciana Doutour of Ardaneanig, Killarney, who was listed under the occupation of \u201cCleaning Business\u201d was charged \u20ac2,500.<\/p>\n<p>The report says nationally, in the first quarter of this year, a total of 17,891 Revenue Compliance Interventions were settled resulting in a total yield of over \u20ac175.5 million (\u20ac175,584,659).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Kerry person and business have been named in the Revenue\u2019s list of tax defaulters.
