Jeremy Clarkson<\/a> has revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former Top Gear host shared the news in the latest episodes of the fifth season of his series Clarkson\u2019s Farm<\/a>, saying the disease was \u201caggressive\u201d but had been discovered early.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got cancer,\u201d Clarkson told farm manager Kaleb Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland during discussions about harvest planning.<\/p>\n

The TV presenter said he expected to be \u201cfine\u201d but would be out of action \u201cfor a while\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking from a hospital bed at the end of the season finale, Clarkson revealed he had experienced complications during treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started season five with me in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five and I\u2019m back in a hospital bed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The 66-year-old reflected on the future of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I\u2019ll see you for season six, and if it isn\u2019t, I won\u2019t,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTake care, everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram before the episodes\u2019 release Clarkson told followers he had \u201csome sombre news\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cSombre news, Clarkson\u2019s Farm, ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming, and cheerful, but two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight are, they\u2019re none of those things really.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re a difficult watch, they\u2019re really, really difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n

The diagnosis comes almost two years after Clarkson underwent a heart procedure.<\/p>\n

Clarkson\u2019s Farm follows the long-time television presenter and his crew as they navigate the challenges of running Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n

Since deciding to run his farm in 2019 and subsequently launching his popular reality series, Clarkson has become a vocal supporter of farmers and attended a protest in London against the Government\u2019s move to introduce inheritance tax on farmland in November 2024.<\/p>\n
