\n\tJimmy Kimmel<\/a> took aim at Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s disastrous decision to paint the Washington, D.C. reflecting pool a shade of \u201cAmerican flag blue.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTrump spent reportedly $14 million updating the reflecting pool on the National Mall,\u201d Kimmel explained. \u201cHe set out to resurface and repaint it because he didn\u2019t like the way it looked. He wanted to paint it American flag blue. That was the color. So, the project was completed last week. And now, not even a week later, it\u2019s already completely green.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cIt\u2019s Mexican flag green. That\u2019s what the White House calls residual algae. They\u2019ve got workers out there. They\u2019ve been dumping gallons of hydrogen peroxide in there, which is also how he colors his hair, by the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel explained that apparently the dark blue color has caused the water to retain more heat, resulting in the green growth. \u201cHe promised he would drain the swamp,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cInstead, he spent 14 million of our dollars building a new one. His next step is to move St. Patrick\u2019s Day to July and claim it\u2019s green on purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe host added, \u201cHe owns hotels. If there was one thing he could do, you would think it was keep a pool clean. He can\u2019t even get that right.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFox News, of course, has been trying to put a positive spin on the situation. Kimmel aired a clip of a reporter suggesting that \u201cno other president\u201d would clean up the reflecting pool. \u201cThat\u2019s right,\u201d Kimmel responded. \u201cNo one. Sorry. Abraham Lincoln wouldn\u2019t have done that. He couldn\u2019t have done it. He didn\u2019t have the courage to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel then shared a clip of a Real America\u2019s Voice\u00a0News reporter claiming that the algae was the result of something nefarious. \u201cMy God, the algae is working with Antifa,\u201d Kimmel responded. \u201cYou\u2019ve cracked the case.\u201d<\/p>\n
