Taylor Swift\u2019s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn and actress Sarah Pidgeon enjoyed a PDA-packed date in New York City over the weekend.<\/p>\n
The English actor, 35, and the Love Story star, 29, were seen kissing and hugging in Brooklyn on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The twosome strolled through the city with their arms around each other and enjoyed beverages while smiling, laughing and chatting.<\/p>\n
The date lasted for hours, with the outing starting when the sun was up and continuing into nightfall.<\/p>\n
Pidgeon sported a white tank top, jeans and black ballet flats, while Alwyn cut a similarly casual figure in a black T-shirt, jeans and black sneakers.<\/p>\n
This seemingly marks the pair\u2019s second time stepping out together, as social media rumours recently surfaced regarding an alleged outing in Brooklyn\u2019s Fort Greene neighbourhood last Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Alwyn, notably, dated Swift for nearly seven years from the fall of 2016 until calling it quits in 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n The pop superstar, 36, later struck up a romance with NFL player Travis Kelce, who proposed to her in August 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n The duo are set to wed on July 3 at NYC\u2019s Madison Square Garden<\/a>.<\/p>\n Swifties have speculated that some of her Tortured Poets Department hits \u2013 specifically Loml, So Long, London and I Can Do It With a Broken Heart \u2013 contain references to her break-up from Alwyn.<\/p>\n The Harriet star, for his part, addressed the split in a June 2024 interview<\/a> with the London Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI would hope that anyone and everyone can empathise and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n He described the \u201cunusual and abnormal\u201d high-profile romance as \u201ca hard thing to navigate.\u201d<\/p>\n Alwyn elaborated, \u201cYou have something very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space: tabloids, social media, press, where it is then dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n However, he claimed to have \u201cmade [his] peace\u201d with the \u201cgap\u201d between \u201cwhat is known and what is said.\u201d<\/p>\n His relationship with Swift was largely private.<\/p>\n Interestingly, Pidgeon has never confirmed any romantic relationship and fiercely protects her personal life.<\/p>\n In addition to portraying Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in Love Story alongside Paul Anthony Kelly (John F.
