During his show, 23-year-old Himanshu Jangra said that he had spent Rs 370 on a plate of chicken biryani during a date and therefore expected a \u201creturn\u201d on that expense. His comment drew strong reactions on social media and netizens slammed both Pranit and Himanshu. As the debate continues online, Tanya Mittal, who was seen on Bigg Boss 19, has now spoken about thecontroversy.Tanya, who shared a screen space with Pranit More on Bigg Boss 19 has reacted to the Pranit More controversy and has urged everyone to stop trolling the stand-up comedian. However, she made it clear that she doesn’t support Pranit\u2019s remarks and shared that he should be held accountable for the comments made on his show. According to Tanya, criticism is understandable, but continuous trolling and hate are not. She said that everyone makes mistakes, and there comes a point when the attacks should stop.During an interview with Fever FM on YouTube, she said, \u201cI do feel bad for Pranit as well. A mistake was made, FIRs were filed against him, and he was subjected to intense public backlash. But we shouldn\u2019t forget that everyone has a family. What he did was wrong, and all of this happened because of it, but human beings do make mistakes. He made one and apologised for it. After a certain point, we need to think about whether social media is becoming too toxic. We should all remember that tomorrow, any one of us could be in his place. I\u2019m saying this today, but if I make a mistake tomorrow, social media won\u2019t spare me either. There comes a point when we should put ourselves in the other person\u2019s shoes and know when to stop.”She further stated that no one is perfect and encouraged people to show empathy before forming opinions about others. She added, \u201cEk point ke baad ruk jana chahiye. Bura bolo, kisi pe sawal uthao then stop. Itna karo ki aaj uska parivar bhi samaj me reh paye\u2026Woh bhi insaan hai aur galti insaan se hoti hai.”For the uninitiated, Pranit issued an apology note on his social media account days before he deactivated his account. While many slammed the comedian, some have requested that the trolling should stop.In his apology note, Pranit wrote, \u201cI understand the criticism regarding a recent crowdwork clip. The comments made by the audience member do not reflect my views. Looking back, I should have challenged the remark instead of laughing and moving on. That was a lapse in judgment on my part. Live crowdwork often involves reacting in real time, but that\u2019s not an excuse. I take the feedback seriously and will be more thoughtful in how I handle similar situations going forward. We\u2019ve also removed the video from all our platforms, as I don\u2019t want to amplify or normalize those views.\u201dHe further said, \u201cI appreciate everyone who raised their concerns respectfully. I sincerely apologize for whatever happened, and I\u2019ll take this lesson forward. I\u2019m human, and like anyone else, I\u2019m constantly learning. Being called out when I get something wrong doesn\u2019t make me smaller but helps me grow.
