A Dublin online Lotto player has scooped an impressive sum after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw<\/p>\n

A Dublin Lotto player is in for a pleasant midweek surprise after snagging five numbers plus the bonus in Wednesday evening’s Lotto draw.<\/a><\/p>\n

They have scooped a prize of \u20ac34,793. The online player bought their winning Quick Pick ticket<\/a> on Tuesday, 16 June in advance of Wednesday night’s draw. The winning numbers from Wednesday night’s (17th June) Lotto draw were: 20, 21, 24, 29, 44, 45 and the Bonus was 28.<\/p>\n

National Lottery<\/a> spokesperson Emma Monaghan said that Dublin<\/a> online players should check their accounts carefully today. Lotto chiefs also confirmed that both a notification and an email have been dispatched to the online winner.<\/p>\n

“What a brilliant midweek surprise for one Dublin player who has scooped \u20ac34,793 after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw” said Ms Monaghan. “As the ticket was purchased online, the winner has already received a notification and an email from the National Lottery, so we’re encouraging our Dublin online players to check their accounts carefully today!”<\/p>\n

The winner is urged to get in touch with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to sort out collection of the winnings.<\/p>\n

A Westmeath man has collected his Lotto Plus 2 top prize of \u20ac250,000 from the 6 June draw. His winning Quick Pick ticket was bought from Tesco in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.<\/p>\n

“I always buy two Lotto tickets, one for my wife and one for myself. It wasn’t long after the draw when I scanned mine on the app, but I thought I must have been seeing things. I asked my wife to check it too and the next thing I knew, she was screaming with excitement. That’s when I knew I definitely wasn’t seeing things!” he said.<\/p>\n

The Westmeath said it was hard to sleep between the win and collecting the prize, and he kept a watchful eye on the winning ticket after carefully stashing it away in an envelope in a drawer.<\/p>\n

“My wife is looking for a new kitchen, so I guess we’ll be hitting the shops very soon. After that, we’re hoping to jet off somewhere sunny later in the year to celebrate properly!”.<\/p>\n

A Galway<\/a> player also had cause for celebration after scooping a Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize worth \u20ac17,867 from the 25 March draw. The lucky ticket was bought from Londis, T1 Cloch Mh\u00edle, Renmore, Co. Galway.<\/p>\n

“It was the night of the draw when I scanned my ticket and saw the message saying, ‘You’ve won big!’ I had to call a family member to go through the numbers with me because I just never expected it. Looking back, I was surprisingly calm in the moment, but now that I’m here in the Winner’s Room, it is all starting to feel real. I’ll definitely have to book a holiday to celebrate!” they said.<\/p>\n
