Alan Walsh will make his first championship start as one of four changes to the Cork team for Sunday\u2019s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final against Offaly at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles (3.30pm).<\/p>\n
The Kanturk man, who appeared off the bench in the opening two Munster SHC round-robin game against Tipperary and Limerick, is picked alongside Alan Connolly and Brian Hayes in the full-forward line with William Buckley among the substitutes.<\/p>\n
With midfielders Tommy O\u2019Connell and Tim O\u2019Mahony ruled out with a broken thumb and dead leg respectively, captain Darragh Fitzgibbon returns following his appendicitis \u2013 he is partnered by Brian Roche, who comes in for his first championship start since the 2025 round-robin victory over Waterford.<\/p>\n
The other change sees Hugh O\u2019Connor named in the half-forward line, taking the place of Barry Walsh, who is a sub.<\/p>\n
