It\u2019s a good sign when demand is so great that gig organisers move the event to a bigger venue, as happened with Olivia Dean\u2019s<\/a> upcoming performances at Marlay Park<\/a>, which were initially planned for Fairview Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In February the Londoner won the Grammy Award for best new artist (a prize previously won by Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish), cementing her status as one of the biggest names in pop music. Four Brit Awards, including artist of the year for 2026, soon followed. <\/p>\n

Still in her mid-20s, Dean has risen rapidly, with a string of catchy, sophisticated releases that have been streamed more than three billion times on Spotify. Even with an upgraded capacity, a ticket to see her in Dublin is hot property. <\/p>\n

When and where is it?<\/p>\n

Olivia Dean plays Marlay Park in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, on Saturday, June 20th, and Sunday, June 21st.<\/p>\n

What time should I arrive? <\/p>\n

Gates for both gigs open at 4pm, with the show scheduled to start at 5pm. Early queuing is not allowed, so aim to arrive from 4pm onwards. Last entry is at 9.30pm.<\/p>\n

Who is playing?<\/p>\n

Olivia Dean is headlining, with support from Sasha Keable and Alice Phoebe Lou. <\/p>\n

What songs will Dean play?<\/p>\n

Big crowds will inevitably lead to significant travel delays around Marlay Park. Organisers advise giving yourself an additional three hours\u2019 travel time to compensate. It is possible to drive to the venue, but it is recommended you walk or use public transport.<\/p>\n

Travel by bus: Marathon Group is running return bus services, including Dublin city centre shuttle buses, as listed here<\/a>. Diversions will be in place on Dublin Bus routes 14, 16 and 74 as a result of the concert; full information is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Travel by Luas: The green line to Broombridge stops at Dundrum and Balally, both of which are about a 45-minute walk from Marlay Park. If you head to Dundrum you can then use the Marathon shuttle-coach service by booking here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Travel by car: Car parking is available at Marlay Park, but it is extremely limited and must be booked in advance here<\/a>. The car-park entrance is on College Road, accessed via Whitechurch Road. <\/p>\n

The recommended drop-off and collection point if you\u2019re getting a lift is in the SuperValu car park on Ballinteer Avenue. Some of the roads surrounding the park will be closed. <\/p>\n

Are any tickets left?<\/p>\n

There were none when we last checked the Ticketmaster website<\/a>, but it\u2019s worth refreshing intermittently to see if any verified resale tickets become available. Make sure you download your ticket to your phone in advance of the gig, as internet connectivity can be an issue and screenshots may not work on the day. <\/p>\n

Box offices for guest list and VIP passes are located at both the College Road and Grange Road entrances to Marlay Park. <\/p>\n

What is security like? <\/p>\n

Any under-16s must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian aged 25 or over to be permitted entry. You are advised to bring an official form of identification to verify your age, be it a passport, Garda age card or driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

Security checks will be in operation on the way into the park. Bags will be searched, and bags larger than A4 size will not be allowed into the event. Among the prohibited items at Marlay Park are umbrellas, alcohol, e-scooters\/e-bikes, flares, flag poles, disposable vapes and gas canisters.<\/p>\n

Can I bring cash?<\/p>\n

All bars in the venue will be cashless. Food vendors will be accepting cash as well as card payments.<\/p>\n

What does the weather look like?<\/p>\n

Indications for high pressure suggest it could be a hot weekend, with temperatures in the mid to high teens on Saturday and a little higher on Sunday.
