A woman has been taken to hospital after she was attacked in Dublin city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The woman, who is in her 50s, was attacked on Dublin\u2019s Exchequer Street at around 4.40am in the morning.<\/p>\n

She is understood to have left the area and collapsed outside the Lego store on Grafton Street some time after.<\/p>\n

She was rushed to St James\u2019s Hospital<\/a> for treatment for what gardai<\/a> say are thought to be non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Pictures have since emerged of blood outside the shop in the busy shopping street and an area around it sealed off.<\/p>\n

In a statement gardai said: “Garda\u00ed and emergency services responded to report of an alleged assault on Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, that occurred on Thursday 18th June 2026, at approximately 4.40am.<\/p>\n

“A woman (aged in her 50\u2019s) was conveyed to St James\u2019s Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.<\/p>\n

“Investigations ongoing.”<\/p>\n
