Clarkson\u2019s Farm<\/a> co-star Kaleb Cooper has given an update on the health of Jeremy Clarkson after his diagnosis with an aggressive form of prostate cancer<\/a> was revealed.<\/p>\n

Cooper, 27, and Clarkson, 66, have been close friends since they first teamed up on Diddly Squat Farm<\/a> back in 2021 and viewers have watched their friendship evolve across five seasons of the series. <\/p>\n

Despite the news, Cooper said Clarkson <\/a>was staying positive. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen him today, and I\u2019ve seen him at Cereals, and his spirits are high, which is good,\u201d Cooper told The Mirror. <\/p>\n

The former Top Gear host revealed he had cancer in the latest series of Clarkson\u2019s Farm<\/a> which aired this week. Cooper found out on screen alongside co-star Charlie Ireland in a moment that left the pair in tears. <\/p>\n

Cooper said <\/p>\n

Speaking about his reaction, Cooper said: \u201cYeah, I mean, it\u2019s only just come out \u2013 100 per cent. I think anything that\u2019s emotional is just about how you take it, you know? You sit there and you be supportive, or do you go out there and, I would say, mope about it and lock yourself away? And at that time you\u2019ve got to be supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper said he had supported Clarkson from the beginning of his health battle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was there for the whole journey, and I\u2019m still here now, so that\u2019s the main thing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Fans have loved watching Cooper and Clarkson\u2019s on-screen banter and playful bickering, though the 27-year-old said nothing changed when the cameras were switched off.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as the cameras stop, we\u2019re exactly the same, and that\u2019s the good thing about it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Cooper applauded Clarkson for encouraging others get themselves checked. <\/p>\n

His colleague Kaleb wiped away tears as he heard the news.\u00a0Amazon <\/p>\n

\u201cThe message about catching anything early is quite important,\u201d he told Daily Mail UK. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the main thing, but you\u2019ve gotta keep checking, you know what I mean, it\u2019s all these things, you know, people can sit there and say I\u2019m busy, busy, busy.\u201d <\/p>\n

Cooper knew that Clarkson\u2019s mindset would carry him through the road ahead: \u201cHe\u2019s strong-minded, he\u2019s got a strong mind on him, which is good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson first revealed he had cancer in the final episodes of his series Clarkson\u2019s Farm. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got cancer,\u201d a visibly emotional Clarkson dropped during an unrelated conversation about\u00a0the farm\u2019s harvest.<\/a><\/p>\n

Cooper, clearly shocked, replied, \u201cNo, you haven\u2019t. Where?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson shared the news on his TV show, telling his close friends and colleagues. \u00a0Amazon <\/p>\n

Clarkson continued: \u201cWhere it is, is of no concern of anybody. I\u2019ve known since May.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a medical, you remember, back in May? I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it\u2019s aggressive, but it\u2019s really early so the treatment will be, you know…<\/p>\n

\u201cI was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment but it\u2019s going to be slap bang in the middle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper, wiping away tears, said: \u201cLook after yourself, you go and do\u2026 if you need anything just ring.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the show, father-of-three Clarkson spoke about how the year had been challenging while talking to Cooper, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, and two other employees.<\/p>\n

He later revealed to Cooper he had \u201c10 per cent\u201d of his prostate removed via ultrasound.\u00a0\u201cThe prostate, 10 per cent of it\u2019s dead,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 10 per cent where the cancer is.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The episode then cut to Clarkson sitting in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n
