\n Tell us a little bit about yourself and your work:\n <\/p>\n

My name is Max O\u2019Reilly, and I\u2019m 20 years old. I live in Carrigaline, and I\u2019m currently studying architectural technology in MTU. I\u2019m a sprinter and I run with Riverstick Kinsale AC, while training in MTU six times a week. I\u2019ve represented Ireland multiple times at U18, U20 and U23 levels in the 100m and 4x100m relay.<\/p>\n

\n What is your ideal way to spend a Friday night?\n <\/p>\n

My Friday nights aren\u2019t that of a typical 20-year-old college student. I\u2019m usually tucked up in bed by about 10pm, ready for my double session bright and early on Saturday morning. I usually just throw on YouTube before going to sleep… so quite boring really.<\/p>\n

\n Lie-ins or up with the lark.. which is it for you?\n <\/p>\n

Definitely lie-ins, I\u2019ll take any sleep or rest I can get.<\/p>\n

\n Does work creep into your weekend at all?\n <\/p>\n

My college course is pretty heavy and continuous, so I\u2019d usually have to do a bit of college work during the weekends.<\/p>\n

\n If money was no object, where would you head to on a weekend city break? And who would you bring with you?\n <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always wanted to go to Japan, so I\u2019d say Tokyo with a few of my buddies. Probably would try to extend to beyond just a weekend, though<\/p>\n

\n Closer to home, is there some place you like to head to recharge the batteries?\n <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t really have a particular spot to go to switch off, no. I\u2019ve always been interested in darts, so usually just throw a few darts when I\u2019m bored in order to switch off.<\/p>\n

Do you like to catch up with family\/friends at the weekend?<\/p>\n

Definitely. I don\u2019t have much time during the week with college and training, so any free time I have at the weekend I like to spend it with friends and family.<\/p>\n

\n Do you get to indulge any hobbies? Even as a spectator?\n <\/p>\n

I like watching a few sports. Mainly soccer, darts, and the F1. I used to play soccer, but had to give it up to focus on the athletics. I\u2019m glued to the dart board at the moment, so love playing that.<\/p>\n

\n Entertain or be entertained? If it\u2019s the latter, do you have a signature dish?\n <\/p>\n

Definitely be entertained, I\u2019m too shy to be the entertainer 24\/7.<\/p>\n

\n We have so many places to eat out in Cork – where are your go to spots for coffee\/ lunch\/ special meal?\n <\/p>\n

I\u2019m not a fan of coffee personally, so that\u2019s not for me. As far as food goes, I\u2019d be pretty boring and say Nando\u2019s. Can\u2019t go wrong with it.<\/p>\n

\n Sunday night comes around too fast.. how do you normally spend it?\n <\/p>\n

I usually just watch the soccer with the family, and then apart from that, not much else happens on a Sunday. Just prepare for college on Monday morning and training that evening.<\/p>\n

\n What time does your alarm clock go off on Monday morning?\n <\/p>\n

I\u2019m usually up for about 8am, I start college at 10am, so not too early.<\/p>\n

\n Anything else you are up to right now…\n <\/p>\n

I\u2019m coming off the back of a good indoor season, considering the lack of training, so I\u2019m really looking forward to seeing what I can do come outdoors with a bit of consistency.<\/p>\n
