The anime studio MAPPA<\/a> presented a second trailer for the third season in the new<\/a> anime based on Rumiko Takahashi<\/a>‘s\u00a0Ranma 1\/2<\/a>\u00a0manga on Friday. <\/p>\n

K\u014dnosuke Uda<\/a> is again directing the anime at MAPPA. The third season will have mainly returning cast and staff members. Returning chief animation directors Yoshiko Sait\u014d<\/a> and K\u014dsuke Kawamura<\/a> will be joined by Riko Kaneda<\/a> (new anime’s first season animation director) and Haruki Miura<\/a> (Ensemble Stars!<\/a>, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean<\/a>). Masahiro Kurio<\/a> also returns as main animator with the addition of Atsuko Ishida<\/a> (Ranma \u00bd (TV 1\/1989)<\/a> key animator) and Yoshihiro Takeda<\/a> (The Devil Is a Part-Timer!<\/a> seasons 2 & 3).<\/p>\n

The third season will air on the NTV<\/a> channel in October, and it will exclusively stream on Netflix<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The anime’s first season premiered nationwide in Japan in October 2024. The anime exclusively streamed on Netflix after its broadcast.<\/p>\n

K\u014dnosuke Uda (One Piece: Dead End<\/a> film,\u00a0DAYS) directed the first season at MAPPA. Kimiko Ueno<\/a> (Delicious in Dungeon<\/a>, Astro Note<\/a>) was in charge of series scripts, and Hiromi Taniguchi<\/a> (Kurage no Shokud\u014d<\/a>) designed the characters.<\/p>\n

The second season premiered on October 4 on NTV. The series streamed on\u00a0Netflix after the television broadcast.\u00a0Most of the staff from the first season returned for the second season. However, K\u014dsuke Kawamura joined the staff as one of the chief animation directors, and Ry\u016bta Hayashi<\/a> joined\u00a0Chihiro \u014ckawa<\/a> to direct the art.<\/p>\n
