While we wait for director Kiah Roache-Turner\u2019s (Sting,\u00a0Wyrmwood: Apocalypse) shark attack movie Beast of War<\/a> this October, we\u2019ve learned that the filmmaker is already hard at work on a totally different creature feature horror movie that\u2019s also set during World War II.<\/p>\n

Deadline reports<\/a>, \u201cUK sales firm\u00a0Architect\u00a0has launched worldwide sales ahead of next month\u2019s\u00a0AFM\u00a0on\u00a0Dogs of War, set within writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner\u2019s wartime world.\u201d<\/p>\n

The upcoming Dogs of War \u201cplunges a crack squad of British commandos into a Nazi-infested forest, in the depths of winter on the Eastern Front during World War II. Tasked with delivering a vital secret weapon to their allies, the soldiers soon discover that what lurks in the forest is far more terrifying than their German foe.<\/p>\n

\u201cForming an uneasy alliance with their sworn enemy, and joining forces with legendary sniper Lady Death, survival quickly becomes the only victory for the embattled soldiers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniel Webber (Billy The Kid), Bart Edwards (The Witcher), Robert Maaser (Ballerina), Jake Ryan (Wolf Creek), CJ Bloomfield (Mortal Kombat), Sam Parsonson (Beast of War), and Masha Basman star. Basman is playing the role of expert sniper Lady Death.<\/p>\n

Kiah Roache-Turner said, \u201cWith\u00a0Dogs Of War, I wanted to explore a different corner of WWII storytelling, bringing together real historical figures and high-concept genre elements. I have always been fascinated with crack sniper Lady Death and her story which has become such a mythical part of WWII folklore. I know that her desperate fight to protect her country more than 80 years ago has a contemporary resonance that today\u2019s audiences will respond to.\u201d<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s producers said in a joint statement, \u201cThis film is a bold, adrenaline-filled fusion of war story, myth, and survival horror that we believe audiences worldwide will connect with.\u201d<\/p>\n

But first up, shark movie Beast of War will release at home on October 10.<\/a><\/p>\n
