{"id":509894,"date":"2026-06-20T16:59:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-20T16:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/509894\/"},"modified":"2026-06-20T16:59:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-20T16:59:14","slug":"reported-arson-attack-on-county-roscommon-home-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/509894\/","title":{"rendered":"Reported arson attack on County Roscommon home &#8211; News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">Garda\u00ed are investigating an incident which is being treated as a possible arson attack on a home in the Lisnamult area of Roscommon Town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Extensive damage was caused to the front of the house during the incident, which occurred at about 4 a.m. this morning, Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It\u2019s understood that there were people in the house at the time but no-one was injured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Emergency services attended the scene and investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Responding to queries from the Herald, a Garda press spokesperson said: &#8220;Garda\u00ed responded to reports of criminal damage by fire to a domestic residence in Roscommon Town, Co Roscommon in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 20th.
