Sharlene Mawdsley has lowered her 400m personal best for the third time this season with a blistering run at the FBK Games in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old edged closer to breaking 50 second barrier with a time of 50.14 at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting.<\/p>\n
Mawdsley finished second in a race won by Egypt’s Bassant Hemida (50.10), with Dutch rival Lieke Klaver third.<\/p>\n
It continues a superb season for the Tipperary woman.<\/p>\n
