Moshe Kasher<\/a> spent Father\u2019s Day in recovery after a cancer diagnosis and throat surgery. The comedian posted on Instagram that he was diagnosed with HPV-positive tonsil cancer. \u201c3 months ago, while in Savannah, producing the new Judd Apatow\/Glenn Powell movie, The Comeback King, which is going to rule so hard, I found a bump on my tonsil,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt was cancer, which did not rule so hard.\u201d Kasher then went on to describe the surgery he underwent to remove the tumor, \u201cleaving me with a hardcore neck scar which will make people reluctant to street fight me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHPV positive tonsil cancer is an epidemic in men under 55,\u201d Kasher wrote. According to the CDC, HPV causes 60-70 percent of oropharyngeal cancers in the U.S. Symptoms include a long-lasting sore throat, ear aches, and swollen lymph nodes. The HPV vaccine prevents HPV infection and thus the ensuing cancer. \u201cWork out your RFK anxieties on the measles if you must, Kasher wrote. \u201cTrust me, you do not want your kids to go through this.\u201d And with that, a happy father\u2019s day to all.<\/p>\n
