Love Island’s Se\u00e1n ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald’s sister has said she loves Lola and thinks the couple are the real deal.<\/p>\n
Katie Fitzgerald said their parents knew nothing about Love Island, but now the family sit down to watch the show each night.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Newstalk, she said: “He is just being himself, like he’s not the type of person to kind of like go around and just kiss all the different girls.<\/p>\n
“I love Lola. I love her so much. My parents love her. I think she’s good.”<\/p>\n
She also said\u00a0she expects him to return to teaching and football once the show is over.<\/p>\n
It was announced at the end of May that the 25-year-old primary school teacher would be featuring on the reality television show, which kicked off its 13th season on June 1st.<\/p>\n
Fitzgerald played football for his local club Bearna, and made his senior debut for Galway in 2022. He made his first SFC appearance a year later.<\/p>\n
He started the 2024 All-Ireland final and has won four consecutive Connacht SFC championship medals.
