The television programming and broadcasting firm Patrick Kielty<\/a> set up after he secured the role of host of RT\u00c9<\/a>\u2019s flagship Late Late Show<\/a> paid out dividends of \u20ac218,590 last year.<\/p>\n

The TV presenter incorporated Pamanco Ireland Ltd in May 2023 \u2013 the month in which he was unveiled as the successor to Ryan Tubridy to host The Late Late Show.<\/p>\n

Accounts filed show pretax profits at Pamanco Ireland Ltd declined by 9 per cent from \u20ac173,273 to \u20ac158,908 in the 12 months to the end of July 31st, 2025.<\/p>\n

Pretax profits at the company last year decreased as revenues dipped by 6 per cent from \u20ac286,656 to \u20ac268,324. Cash funds decreased from \u20ac113,393 to \u20ac94,287 and after the dividend payout, offset by post-tax profits of \u20ac138,958, accumulated profits reduced to \u20ac71,982.<\/p>\n

On the company\u2019s future plans, the directors, in their report, signed off on April 17th, said Pamanco \u201cplans to continue its present activities and current trading levels\u201d.<\/p>\n

Kielty\u2019s three-year contract to present The Late Late Show, signed in June 2023, comes to an end this month and an announcement has yet to be made concerning a new contract.<\/p>\n

At an RT\u00c9 appearance before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Arts, Media, Communications, Culture and Sport on May 20th, RT\u00c9 director general Kevin Bakhurst told members the broadcaster was \u201cstill negotiating with Patrick\u201d about renewal.<\/p>\n

Asked if RT\u00c9 has a contingency plan in place if negotiations are not successful, Bakhurst said: \u201cWe want to get Patrick back but we will have to have one in case we cannot conclude a deal with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked for an update on negotiations with Kielty, an RT\u00c9 spokeswoman said today: \u201cThe Late Late Show reached the end of another successful season. It has an average of 385,000 viewers per episode \u2013 38.2 per cent share \u2013 with 1.46 million streams on RT\u00c9 Player to date. We look forward to the programme returning for its 65thth year in the autumn.”<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cWe have no further comment at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June 2023, Kielty confirmed that his three-year contract involved RT\u00c9 paying him \u20ac250,000 for each of the three 30-episode Late Late Show series. <\/p>\n

Pamanco Ireland Ltd is a subsidiary of Co Down-registered entertainment firm Boxed Productions Ltd and the \u20ac218,950 dividend would have been paid to the latter entity.<\/p>\n
