2<\/p>\n Poirier fought in the UFC 32 times from 2011 before retiring after a defeat to Max Holloway last JulyCredit: Getty<\/p>\n Poirier, the only man to knock out Conor McGregor<\/a> in the UFC, was arrested for public drunkenness over Father’s Day weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 37-year-old from Louisiana appeared to confirm these reports when he posted a message on his Instagram story later on Monday that stated: “Love you all. I’m working on myself.”<\/p>\n And new footage from the Atlanta Police Department shows exactly what happened.<\/p>\n ‘I’m gonna bang you up’<\/p>\n Poirier stormed over to one officer at the beginning of the video and repeats: “Let’s go big dog.”<\/p>\n READ MORE MMA NEWS<\/p>\n The officer asks Poirier what has happened to which the former UFC<\/a> fighter points to female staff members in the airport and says: “Bunch of h**s.”<\/p>\n Poirier continued: “Let’s go. Let’s go. They’re f****** lying motherf*****s.<\/p>\n “Yeah, pull me off the plane, all my boys went to the f****** crib. Now, what the f***?<\/p>\n The officer asksed “Are you Dustin Poirier<\/a>?”<\/p>\n Poirier responded: “Man, f*** you, bro. Man, f*** you and f*** her.”<\/p>\n Taking his bag off, the 37-year-old added: “I’ll fight you right now. I’ll go with you right now. Let’s go.”<\/p>\n Before calling for back-up, the officer replied: “I don’t want to fight.”<\/p>\n And Poirier quickly interrupted, saying: “Yeah, tell ’em. Tell ’em. Come on, cause it’s gonna be bad. It’s gonna be bad.”<\/p>\n In quite shocking circumstances, Poirier then seemingly makes his way towards the officer, who appears to reach for his taser before telling the fighter to ‘relax.’<\/p>\n Poirier continued: “You gonna tase me? You gonna tase me? Bro, I’m gonna bang you up.”<\/p>\n Another officer then joined and was told that Poirier was kicked off the flight and is a UFC<\/a> fighter.<\/p>\n Poirier said the aforementioned flight attendants were ‘lying’ before the footage cuts to Poirier, having seemingly calmed down, asking to be arrested.<\/p>\n 2<\/p>\n Poirier has previously opened up on his struggles post-retirementCredit: Getty<\/p>\n He concluded: “That’s the best way, dog. <\/p>\n “Pound it. Pound it. Nah, you did a great job. You did what you could.”<\/p>\n ‘I need some help’<\/p>\n Shortly after the footage emerged, Poirier took to Instagram to seemingly confirm that was him. <\/p>\n The 37-year-old said: “I’m at the point where I need some help.
