Nearly 50 years after winning over audiences as Frenchy in Grease<\/a>, Didi Conn<\/a> is stepping back into one of her most beloved roles.<\/p>\n

But the 74-year-old actress, who also appeared on the sitcom Happy Days<\/a>, ditched her trademark pink \u2019do for a polished bob in a new beauty campaign inspired by the classic 1978 film.<\/p>\n

The ad included a playful nod to the iconic Grease character with a pink wig displayed behind her.<\/p>\n

In the original film, Frenchy is serenaded by Frankie Avalon, who sings \u201cBeauty School Dropout\u201d to convince her to return to high school.<\/p>\n

This time around, Didi gets a new guardian angel altogether.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou might remember when I famously dropped out of beauty school. I thought my life and my hair was ruined and I\u2019d have to spend eternity making expensive salon appointments,\u201d Didi said in the ad<\/a>, partnering with Laura Geller Beauty to promote a root touch-up product.<\/p>\n

When a guardian angel and a group of backup singers in silver dresses and curlers appear on a staircase, mirroring the film\u2019s famous scene, Didi calls out<\/a>, \u201cOh, not this again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s enough. I don\u2019t need you anymore,\u201d she tells them before they can launch into song. She wraps up the ad with a wink to her character\u2019s signature line, \u201cWait \u2019til the Ladies hear about this!\u201d<\/p>\n

Many fans were delighted to see Conn revisit the role that first won their hearts nearly 50 years ago, and looking just as radiant<\/a>. \u201cThis is genius marketing. Go Didi!\u201d one person commented<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIconic!! She\u2019s sooo cute! Y\u2019all nailed this ad, give your marketing team a raise!\u201d another wrote<\/a>, while others called her \u201cterrific\u201d and said she\u2019d \u201caged like fine wine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another nostalgic fan chimed in and wrote<\/a>, \u201cNope this is going to make me cry. My favorite movie of all time\u201d<\/p>\n
