Tom Holland used Zendaya\u2019s middle name during a red carpet exchange at the Rome premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.<\/p>\n

The moment happened Tuesday, June 23, while Zendaya was speaking with a reporter. Holland called out \u201cMaree!\u201d from nearby, according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Zendaya turned toward him and answered, \u201cYeah?\u201d Holland then asked, \u201cWhat\u2019s the name of that place?\u201d<\/p>\n

She answered, \u201cGiolitti\u2019s,\u201d referring to the well-known Rome gelateria and pastry shop. After answering Holland, Zendaya turned back to the reporter and said, \u201cThat\u2019s where I\u2019m going after this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holland Called Out Zendaya\u2019s Middle Name on the Carpet<\/p>\n

Zendaya\u2019s full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman. InStyle<\/a> noted that Holland used \u201cMaree\u201d instead of \u201cZendaya\u201d or her familiar nickname \u201cZ.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holland and Zendaya have spent years keeping most of their relationship away from interviews, even while promoting the Spider-Man franchise together.<\/p>\n

The Moment Came After Holland Confirmed They Are Married<\/p>\n

The Rome clip followed Holland\u2019s recent Esquire U.K. interview, where he addressed AI-generated images that falsely appeared to show him and Zendaya at a wedding.<\/p>\n

People reported that Holland was asked whether he had warned family members about the fake images. \u201cNo, because they were all there,\u201d he replied. \u201cThat\u2019s all you\u2019ll get on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Entertainment Weekly<\/a> reported that Holland later described Zendaya as his best friend and said she makes him feel supported and safe.<\/p>\n

Zendaya and Holland Are Back on the Red Carpet Together<\/p>\n

The Rome premiere came after Holland and Zendaya\u2019s June 15 appearance at the Madrid premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. People reported that Madrid marked their first joint red carpet appearance in four years.<\/p>\n

In Rome, Zendaya wore a vintage Giorgio Armani gown from the fashion house\u2019s spring\/summer 1990 ready-to-wear collection, according to InStyle. The black dress featured a beaded spiderweb design and sequin arachnid details.<\/p>\n

Holland wore a merlot-colored suit with a matching tie, white shirt and glossy black dress shoes. InStyle reported that the two held hands and posed together during the event.<\/p>\n

Their Summer Includes Spider-Man and The Odyssey<\/p>\n

Spider-Man: Brand New Day brings Holland and Zendaya back to the franchise where they first worked together. Holland plays Peter Parker, while Zendaya returns as Michelle \u201cM.J.\u201d Jones.<\/p>\n

People reported that Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters July 31.
