Bring Me The Horizon<\/a> have shared a new song, \u2018Dehumanized\u2019, taken from their upcoming re-recording of \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019<\/a>. Listen below.<\/p>\n

The Sheffield band have revisited and \u201creactivated\u201d their 2006 debut album by making it \u201csharper, heavier, and more vital than ever\u201d, as announced earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Titled \u2018Count Your Blessings: Repented\u2019, the 20th anniversary project is described as a \u201crecontextualisation\u201d of the original, rather than a retrospective release. The collection is due for release on July 10.<\/p>\n

BMTH will also play two special \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019 shows as part of Outbreak Fest in Manchester<\/a> next month.<\/p>\n

After sharing a reimagined version of \u2018Black & Blue\u2019<\/a> recently, Oli Sykes<\/a> and co. have now dropped a brand-new original track that was written and recorded for the upcoming \u2018\u2026Repented\u2019.<\/p>\n

The vicious \u2018Dehumanized\u2019 is the collection\u2019s sole new composition, written two decades after the original album\u2019s release.<\/p>\n

Per a press release, the single serves as a bridge between past and present. It brings a dose of \u201cunrelenting aggression and chaos\u201d from Bring Me\u2019s earliest material, while also boasting \u201cthe scope, ambition and sonic precision\u201d of their later years.<\/p>\n

The song was produced by Sykes and BMTH guitarist Lee Malia, with mixing courtesy of Buster Odeholm. \u2018Dehumanized\u2019, which will appear as the final track on \u2018Count Your Blessings: Repented\u2019, acts as a closing statement to the LP and ushers in a new chapter in the debut album\u2019s legacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t have this record sounding like what bands sound like today. It needs to be the best version of what it sounded like in 2006,\u201d Sykes explained.

Bring Me The Horizon have promised that their forthcoming slots at Outbreak Fest will be \u201ca defining moment for a generation of fans \u2013 both those who were there at the beginning and those discovering it now\u201d.<\/p>\n

As well as playing \u2018Count Your Blessings\u2019 in full for the first time, Bring Me are set to break out some other material from the era. The band\u00a0will be joined by support acts\u00a0Static Dress<\/a>,\u00a0Dying Wish<\/a>,\u00a0Rolo Tomassi<\/a>,\u00a0Heriot<\/a>, Car Underwater and Still In Love.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of the \u2018\u2026.Repented\u2019 collection, frontman Sykes shared a video of himself recording some deathcore screaming in the studio for the re-imagined release<\/a>. \u201cTook me a minute to work out how to do some of this shit again,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery excited to share CYB repented with u. I think we did you all proud. It\u2019s so nice to see all the love and nostalgia too thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME at Reading Festival 2025<\/a>, Sykes revealed that\u00a012 more songs could be arriving at some point as part of the \u2018Director\u2019s Cut\u2019 of BMTH\u2019s latest album, \u2018Post Human: Nex Gen\u2019<\/a>. He said this could take a while, however, as he has become\u00a0the father of twins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe music will come, but it\u2019s just not the be-all and end-all,\u201d Sykes told us. \u201cWe\u2019re realising that we don\u2019t have to put another record out; we just put one out. Most bands would go away for two years, have an actual break. You don\u2019t have to do this, but I want to and I enjoy it. If it doesn\u2019t happen, then it doesn\u2019t happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

BMTH released a ravey but heavy collab with US musician, DJ and producer Illenium, \u2018Slave To The Rithim\u2019<\/a>, earlier this year.<\/p>\n

They recently wrapped up their 2026 \u2018Ascension Program 2\u2019 North American tour<\/a>, and made appearances at\u00a0Rock For People<\/a>,\u00a0Nova Rock<\/a>,\u00a0Tons Of Rock<\/a>, Sick New World<\/a> and Hellfest. At the latter event, the group brought out Lorna Shore\u2019s Will Ramos to perform \u2018Antivist\u2019<\/a>. They then teamed up with Babymetal for \u2018Kingslayer\u2019 at Graspop Metal Meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bring Me The Horizon are scheduled to headline Sziget 2026<\/a>\u00a0in Budapest in August alongside\u00a0Florence + The Machine<\/a>,\u00a0Lewis Capaldi<\/a>,\u00a0Twenty One Pilots<\/a>\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n

This year also saw Bring Me screen their concert film, L.I.V.E. In S\u00e3o Paulo, in cinemas worldwide<\/a> for two days only.
