If you were out playing a spot of golf this month, you may have just spotted a very famous American sports star on the course: Former NFL player Tom Brady.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Tom was known for his sport, playing 23 seasons of football, predominantly with the New England Patriots, but also his love life with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan<\/a>, and Gisele B\u00fcndchen.<\/a><\/p>\n

The trip to our shores comes just a few weeks after Tom Brady and his ex\u00a0Bridget put their differences aside and reunited to watch their son, Jack Brady, graduate from school. <\/p>\n

For Tom, football is not the only sport he has a true gr\u00e1 for, with the former quarterback spotted on Portmarnock Golf Club in north Dublin. <\/p>\n

With a strong Irish heritage, the star brought his dad, Thomas, for a holiday to Ireland to celebrate Father’s Day.<\/p>\n

Posting several shots on his social media, Tom wrote: ‘These pictures are worth 1000 words and even more memories. It\u2019s hard to describe how special this trip to Ireland was with my idol and hero, my dad.’<\/p>\n

‘It didn\u2019t take much convincing to head to Ireland to play some of the best golf courses in the world at the Royal County Down Golf Course,\u00a0Portmarnock Golf Club,\u00a0and Adare Manor, but to be on the course with my dad on Father\u2019s Day was one of the greatest experiences of my life,’ he told his followers. <\/p>\n

‘Returning to Ireland was special in its own right, and the incredible hospitality and kindness of the Irish people will always hold a place in my family\u2019s heart. I\u2019m beyond blessed to create memories like these, and it\u2019s all because of the work my dad did for our family and how he has supported us all and loved us unconditionally.’<\/p>\n

‘The foundation of love and support from my mom and dad was second to none. I can only hope to be back here someday with my kids years from now.’<\/p>\n

And like any sports star, they love a challenge, with Tom admitting to his fans, ‘PS: Last slide is what your game turns into when those winds get going.’ <\/p>\n
