\n\tMadonna<\/a> fans score a surprise late goal with the release of \u201cRead My Lips,\u201d a new addition to the Official FIFA<\/a> World Cup 26 album.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cRead My Lips\u201d is the Queen of Pop\u2019s bilingual collaboration with Latin star Feid<\/a>, and it arrives late Thursday, June 25, a \u201cBonus Edition\u201d cut from the all-star FIFA World Cup collection, which now expands to 20 tracks.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by Madonna, Stuart Price and Tainy, the song first reached our ears in Madonna\u2019s Confessions II \u2013 The Film, which premiered earlier this month at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival<\/a>, a 13-minute visual project centered around her upcoming album\u00a0Confessions II, and is now available for the first time as a complete release.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s shaping as a Madonna Summer. The superstar singer will drop the full length album, Confessions II, on July 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tThen, two weeks later, on Sunday, July 19, she\u2019ll join BTS and Shakira on stage at MetLife Stadium for the first-ever halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith all the activity surrounding her short film, new music and concerts, Madonna hasn\u2019t forgotten about her long-gestating biopic. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a recent\u00a0Interview\u00a0cover story<\/a>, the \u201cLike a Virgin\u201d singer spoke openly about why the screen project has experienced so many delays, from her perspective. \u201cI was supposed to make a movie about my life,\u201d she began. \u201cI worked on my script for two years and spent two years at Universal Studios with the line producers doing budgeting and casting. We had a falling out, me and Universal, regarding budget because I needed \u2014 I\u2019ve had an extraordinary life. I\u2019ve had a huge life, so I needed a big budget.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tConfessions II, it turns out, was born from those frustrations. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe film project was first announced by Universal Pictures in 2020. After Julia Garner was cast in the starring role and Madonna worked on two versions of the script, news broke in 2023 that the project\u00a0had been scrapped<\/a>\u00a0by the studio. In May 2025, the seven-time Grammy winner partnered with Shawn Levy to create an autobiographical series about her life, a few months after which the\u00a0Weapons\u00a0actress appeared to hint that she was still involved.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actress\u00a0recently appeared<\/a>\u00a0in Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s \u201cBring Your Love\u201d music video, which dropped earlier in June, another teaser for Confessions II.<\/p>\n
