It earned 19.1 million official U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in May 2026 en route to its No. 1 bow, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n

\n\tThose metrics (plus its Tunefind-specific engagement metrics) are a tick better than those of The Weeknd<\/a>\u2019s \u201cBlinding Lights,\u201d which was heard in the 10th episode of Apple TV+\u2019s For All Mankind\u2019s fifth season. Its May 2026 consumption: 20.9 million streams and 1,000 downloads.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPiano Man\u201d was Joel\u2019s breakthrough on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> in its time, peaking at No. 25 in 1974. \u201cBlinding Lights\u201d enjoyed four weeks at No. 1 in 2020.<\/p>\n
