The Irish mum who went viral after turning up to Lewis Capaldi\u2019s Marlay Park show <\/a>armed with something no one saw coming, pages of printed lyrics so she wouldn\u2019t miss a single word, has responded to her newfound internet fame. <\/p>\n

Maura headed to the concert with her daughter Kate and son\u2011in\u2011law, Michael, and the TikTok of her flipping through the sheets mid\u2011crowd has taken off online, racking up almost 160,000 likes.<\/p>\n

Kate, who previously went viral for her wedding spreadsheets, and Michael got Maura the tickets as a gift and accompanied her to see Lewis, who has also been confirmed to play Electric Picnic this year,<\/a> live. <\/p>\n

People in the comments to the original viral video are obsessed, calling Maura ‘an icon’, ‘the most prepared woman in Ireland’, and insisting Lewis should ‘bring her on tour’.<\/p>\n

But the best part came after the clip, which now has more than 1 million views and counting, blew up.<\/p>\n

Maura made a TikTok of her own, laughing at the attention and thanking everyone for being so kind – captioning the vid, ‘I’m that Mom!!’.<\/p>\n

She said she couldn\u2019t believe the reaction \u2014 especially when former students started popping up in the comments saying, ‘She was my English teacher \u2014 she was the best.’<\/p>\n

Recalling how the video came to be, Maura said: ‘I took out the sheets and straight away Kate goes, “oh mum, that’s so cute,” and she starts recording, doing a video of me.<\/p>\n

‘And of course I bought the little poly pocket just in case it rained and the sheets got wet, but everybody has just been so wonderful in the way you\u2019ve reached out… I just wanted to thank you so much.’<\/p>\n

The video has already reached 6,000 likes, so we have to wonder, will Lewis see the dedicated mum’s efforts? We hope so!<\/p>\n
