Matt Damon tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that his four daughters love to travel the globe with him<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are seasoned travelers in our family, just because I work all over the world,\u201d the actor says<\/p>\n

The Odyssey star shares four daughters \u2014 Alexia, Isabella, Gia and Stella \u2014 with his wife, Luciana Damon<\/p>\n

Matt Damon<\/a> loves to travel the globe with his girls \u2014 and the feeling is mutual.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actor, 55, says his career in the entertainment industry has allowed him the opportunity to travel near and far, and his kids love to tag along on his getaways.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are seasoned travelers in our family, just because I work all over the world. So my kids love to travel<\/a>,\u201d Matt says.<\/p>\n

He shares four daughters<\/a> \u2014 Alexia, 27; Isabella, 20; Gia, 17; and Stella, 15 \u2014 with his wife, Luciana Damon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Matt and Luciana, 49, welcomed their first child together, Isabella, in 2006. Gia followed in 2008, and Stella completed the family in 2010.<\/p>\n

Alexia is Luciana\u2019s daughter from her marriage to ex-husband Arbello Barroso. Alexia met stepdad Matt in 2003, after her mother started dating the actor. (Matt and Luciana eventually wed<\/a> in 2005.)<\/p>\n

This summer, Matt will be booked and busy, traveling the globe to promote his latest project, The Odyssey<\/a>, which follows the story of Homer’s ancient Greek poem of the same name.<\/p>\n

He stars in the Christopher Nolan<\/a>-directed film as the lead character, Odysseus.<\/p>\n

According to Damon, he will have virtually no downtime ahead of the movie\u2019s worldwide premiere next month.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy decompression already happened,\u201d he tells PEOPLE with a laugh. \u201cBut we’re going to Europe, we’re going to do premieres in Mumbai, Beijing and Seoul. It\u2019s a big push.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ll bring my family for a lot of it, so they can see some of these places,\u201d adds Damon, who recently launched a new initiative, Get Blue<\/a>, with his nonprofit, Water.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17.<\/p>\n
