The staff for Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season<\/a>, the sequel<\/a> to the 2019-2020 anime of Y\u016bji Terajima<\/a>‘s Ace of Diamond Act II (Daiya no A Act II) manga, revealed the October premiere, theme song artists, and a key visual for the second cours<\/a> (quarter of a year) of the series on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The second part of the season will premiere in October on TV Tokyo<\/a> Network (TXN) and AT-X<\/a>, among other broadcasters.<\/p>\n

Glay<\/a> will perform the opening theme and OxT<\/a> will perform the ending theme song.<\/p>\n

The Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season\u00a0anime\u00a0debuted<\/a> on April 5 on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, and also on AT-X. The anime is also streaming on Netflix<\/a> in Japan.<\/p>\n

Hideaki \u014cba<\/a> (Kunon the Sorcerer Can See<\/a>, I’m in Love with the Villainess<\/a>, Love of Kill<\/a>) is the new director, replacing Mitsuyuki Masuhara<\/a>, at OLM<\/a> (Madhouse<\/a> animated Ace of Diamond Act II). Kenji Konuta<\/a> is returning from the previous three anime in the franchise to oversee the series scripts. Yasukazu Sh\u014dji<\/a> (Major 2nd<\/a> chief animation director, Restaurant to Another World (TV 2)<\/a> character designer) is the new character designer, replacing Minoru Ueda<\/a> and Satoshi Tasaki<\/a>. Hajime Hyakkoku<\/a> is returning from Ace of Diamond Act II to compose the music.<\/p>\n

The main cast is returning for the new season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Terajima’s original Ace of Diamond baseball manga inspired<\/a> a television anime that premiered in 2013, and Crunchyroll<\/a> streamed<\/a> the 75-episode series as it aired in Japan. Ace of Diamond: Second Season<\/a> premiered in April 2015, and Crunchyroll also streamed<\/a> the 51-episode series as it aired.<\/p>\n

The Ace of Diamond Act II anime premiered<\/a> in April 2019 and aired for 52 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed<\/a> the series as it aired in Japan.<\/p>\n

Terajima launched the Ace of Diamond manga in Kodansha<\/a>‘s Weekly Sh\u014dnen Magazine<\/a> in 2006. He ended<\/a> the manga in January 2015, and Kodansha published 47 volumes for the manga.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Terajima then launched<\/a> Ace of Diamond Act II in August 2015, and ended<\/a> the manga in October 2022. Kodansha published 34 volumes for the sequel manga.<\/p>\n

The Ace of Diamond manga won<\/a> the sh\u014dnen category of the 34th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2010. Kodansha USA Publishing<\/a> began releasing<\/a> the manga digitally in English in March 2017 under the title Ace of the Diamond<\/a>. K MANGA<\/a> is releasing the Ace of the Diamond Act II<\/a> manga in English.<\/p>\n

The manga has also inspired a series of stage plays.<\/p>\n
