Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd and his wife Hanni Treweek have welcomed their first child.<\/p>\n
The couple revealed they are parents to a daughter named Constance Ita Shepherd born on June 26th.<\/p>\n
In a post on Instagram, the couple shared photos of the baby\u2019s hand holding onto theirs.<\/p>\n
Only a little bit of the side of the newborn\u2019s head and ear is visible in the image.<\/p>\n
The captioned the photo: \u201cOur beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shepherd is best known for his role as David Platt in the ITV soap since 2000. Many of his co-stars including Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby), Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby) and Sam Aston (Chesney Brown) offered their congratulations.<\/p>\n
Danson wrote: \u201cCongratulations- gorgeous news,\u201d while Taylor said: \u201cOh darling! So thrilled for you both and what a beautiful name xxx.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aston commented: \u201cWonderful news! Congratulations guys, born at home aswell.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sally Dynevor, best known as Sally Metcalfe, wrote: \u201cOh wonderful so happy for you, what a beautiful name. Lots of love to you all xxxx\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple got married in Manchester Cathedral in July 2025.<\/p>\n
In a post after their wedding, Treweek wrote on Instagram: \u201cIntroducing Mr & Mrs Shepherd.<\/p>\n
\u201cWords cannot describe how beautiful yesterday was for us \u2013 it was more than perfect.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe love & energy in the room (and outside) was incredible \u2013 our hearts are truly full.<\/p>\n
