\n\tCara Delevingne<\/a> is coming off one of the films of Cannes in the shape of buzzy A24 acquisition Club Kid.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, on a podcast appearance with Louis Theroux the model and actress has addressed one of her screen misfires: the 2018 thriller London Fields, also featuring Amber Heard, Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Isaacs, Theo James, Johnny Depp and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film, adapted from the Martin Amis novel of the same name, has a rare 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and received some blistering reviews. Delevingne said the reception took her aback.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou never know\u201d, said the actress about her expectations for the film. \u201cIt seemed like it was going to be kind of major, to be honest\u2026with the cast and the book, the script was so good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe long-delayed film, reportedly made for $8M, was a major flop, making only $160,000 over its debut weekend in the U.S. from 613 cinemas. The film was the subject of protracted litigation. It was due to have its premiere at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival but was pulled from the schedule after its director sued its producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a wide-ranging discussion with Theroux, Delevingne also talked about substance abuse issues, modelling, sexuality and relationships.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Brit, also known for movies including Suicide Squad, Valerian and Paper Towns, repeated claims she has made before about Harvey Weinstein warning her against coming out as gay. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHarvey Weinstein called me up and said, \u2018Are you gay?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Um, what do you mean?\u2019 And he was like, \u2018You should never be in a relationship with a woman,’\u201d Delevingne told Theroux.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued: \u201c\u2018You\u2019ll never make it in the industry if people think you\u2019re gay,’\u201d [he said].
