EY\u00a0Ireland\u00a0<\/a>has announced\u00a012\u00a0new Equity Partners bringing the total number of\u00a0Equity Partners in EY across the island of Ireland to\u00a0157.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The firm says that these new appointments reflect it\u2019s increased investment across all regions and\u00a0all\u00a0areas\u00a0of our business\u00a0including\u00a0Assurance, Tax & Law, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and key growth areas including AI<\/a>,\u00a0Technology, M&A,\u00a0Aviation\u00a0Finance,\u00a0Government & Infrastructure and\u00a0Health,\u00a0among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new Equity Partners are: Shane McCarthy (Assurance), Karl O\u2019Donnell (Assurance), Sinead Hickey (Consulting), Alastair Allen (Consulting), Ciaran Conroy (Tax), Siobhan Dunleavy (Strategy and Transactions), Leanne Berkery\u00a0 (Assurance), Sharon Cunningham (Tax), Tony Nugent (Consulting), Julia Ann Corkery\u00a0(Strategy and Transactions), Dara Kavanagh (Assurance) and Emily O\u2019Sullivan\u00a0(Consulting).<\/p>\n

Shane McCarthy\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. He leads EY Ireland\u2019s AI and Data Infusion practice, specialising in the design and delivery of AI and data-driven transformation programmes.<\/p>\n

A data scientist by background, he has over 15 years\u2019 experience working with clients across Ireland, the UK, the US,\u00a0Australia\u00a0and New Zealand.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Karl O\u2019Donnell\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. As a chartered accountant with over 15 years\u2019 experience, he provides assurance services to multinational groups and high-growth private businesses across many sectors including technology, renewable\u00a0energy\u00a0and Agribusiness.<\/p>\n

He specialises in International Financial Reporting Standards, local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and internal control frameworks.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sin\u00e9ad Hickey\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting.<\/p>\n

She\u00a0has over 20 years\u2019 experience in SAP transformation, spanning design and leadership roles across leading organisations in Ireland and Europe.<\/p>\n

She leads large-scale initiatives, helping clients realise measurable value from SAP investments. A strong recognised leader in Ireland, she drives integration of AI and emerging technologies to enable innovation, automation, and sustained business performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alastair Allen\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting. A Healthcare Technology specialist based in Northern Ireland, he leads digital and technology-enabled transformation initiatives across the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n

He focuses on improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency through data, digital health\u00a0solutions\u00a0and strategic partnerships.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ciar\u00e1n Conroy\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Tax. He specialises in aviation finance and structured finance,\u00a0advising\u00a0aircraft\u00a0leasing groups and banks on the establishment and structuring of\u00a0aircraft\u00a0leasing platforms in Ireland. He has supported\u00a0a number of\u00a0leading\u00a0aircraft\u00a0lessors on the acquisition and divestment of significant\u00a0aircraft\u00a0portfolios. He has also led multiple big ticket tax engagements across the broader Financial Services sector, including diligence and post-transaction structuring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Siobh\u00e1n Donlevy\u00a0has joined EY Ireland as a Partner in Strategy and Transactions.<\/p>\n

She has over 20 years\u2019 experience advising owners, private equity and management teams on mergers and acquisitions,\u00a0fundraising\u00a0and strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n

Siobhan supports clients across the full deal lifecycle and has deep\u00a0expertise\u00a0in the healthcare sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Leanne Berkery\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. She leads EY\u2019s Global Reporting\u00a0Center\u00a0of Excellence, supporting clients in optimising their statutory audit and reporting processes.<\/p>\n

She brings specialist\u00a0expertise\u00a0in statutory reporting models, regulatory requirements,\u00a0governance\u00a0and technology, with over 15 years\u2019 experience working with large global organisations across multiple sectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shannon Cunningham\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Tax. Based in Northern Ireland, she has over 13 years\u2019 experience advising\u00a0clients\u00a0on tax structuring, reorganisations, transaction tax\u00a0matters\u00a0and international tax matters.<\/p>\n

A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, she works with private equity and private and public companies across the UK market.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tony Nugent\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting. He is a recognised leader in delivering finance transformation at scale across the Irish market and beyond.<\/p>\n

As part of EY\u2019s Digital Finance offering, he helps organisations unlock the value of AI across finance functions, and partners with clients end-to-end on their transformation journey from strategy through to implementation and operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Julia Ann Corkery\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Strategy and Transactions.<\/p>\n

She has over 17 years\u2019 experience advising on procurement and contract management across complex capital projects, particularly in the transport sector.<\/p>\n

She specialises in strategic commercial advisory, supporting public and private sector clients to deliver large-scale programmes and achieve robust commercial and financial outcomes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dara Kavanagh\u00a0has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0leads EY\u2019s Treasury Services team in Ireland\u00a0and\u00a0advises CFOs and finance leaders on building resilient, insight-led treasury functions, with\u00a0expertise\u00a0in cash and liquidity management, financial\u00a0risk\u00a0and treasury accounting.<\/p>\n

He supports clients\u00a0in\u00a0Ireland and globally across a range of sectors, helping organisations enhance cash visibility, risk\u00a0insight\u00a0and financial decision-making.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Emily O\u2019Sullivan\u00a0has joined EY Ireland as a Partner in Consulting. She leads the Electronic Health Record (EHR) practice in Ireland and specialises in large-scale clinical transformation and digital health strategy.<\/p>\n

A registered nurse by background, she has built her career at the intersection of clinical practice and technology, bringing over 25 years\u2019 global experience in health system transformation and supporting the delivery of connected, person-centred care and improved patient outcomes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
