A number of local businesses look set to feature prominently during Ireland\u2019s hosting of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.<\/p>\n

Ireland took the reins yesterday with local ceremonies to mark the occasion organised by both Carlow and Kilkenny county council<\/a>s.<\/p>\n

Despite concerns regarding the costs involved and impact on policing personnel etc that\u2019s expected to come with the reign, it\u2019s hoped to bring a boost to the country overall.<\/p>\n

And already it seems there\u2019s a positive impact for some enterprises.<\/p>\n

North Kilkenny based bus company JJ Kavanagh & Sons<\/a> outlined it\u2019s role for the six-month term;<\/p>\n
