The trailer reveals the anime’s cast, staff, and April 2027 debut on TV Asahi<\/a>‘s “ImAnimation” programming block. Crunchyroll<\/a> also announced at Anime Expo<\/a> on Friday that it will stream<\/a> the anime.<\/p>\n

As previously announced, Rie Matsumoto<\/a> (Blood Blockade Battlefront<\/a>, Heartcatch Precure! Hana no Miyako de Fashion Show\u2026Desu ka!?<\/a> film, Kyousougiga<\/a>) is directing the anime at Bones Film<\/a>. Kimiko Ueno<\/a> (Delicious in Dungeon<\/a>, ZENSHU.<\/a>, MARRIAGETOXIN<\/a>) is in charge of series composition.\u00a0Satoshi Murai<\/a> is composing the music.\u00a0Story Inc.<\/a> is credited for production.<\/p>\n

Kimura launched<\/a> the manga in Shogakukan<\/a>‘s Coro Coro Comics<\/a> magazine in January 2022. The manga was nominated<\/a> in the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2023. Shogakukan published the manga’s 12th compiled book volume on April 28. Yen Press<\/a>\u00a0\u200blicensed<\/a>\u200b\u200b\u200b the manga and will release the first volume in October.<\/p>\n

The manga’s story centers on Chrono, a boy whose right eye is imbued with the “Rewinder,” a power to rewind time. He belongs to a special time police unit that thwarts dark destinies by going back in time and changing history. The story puts Chrono on various types of missions, including romance, sports, and defeating terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n

The manga also inspired a net anime adaptation that debuted<\/a> on YouTube<\/a> in spring 2022.<\/p>\n
