The Cure<\/a> headlined the third day of Poland\u2019s Open\u2019er Festival<\/a> last night (July 3), performing a mix of rarely-played deep cuts and iconic fan favourites \u2013 check out the full setlist below:<\/p>\n Open\u2019er, Poland\u2019s largest and most diverse festival, kicked off earlier this week (July 1). Florence And The Machine<\/a>, David Byrne<\/a>, Halsey<\/a>, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds<\/a>, Kneecap<\/a>, Calvin Harris<\/a>, The xx<\/a> and more have already performed at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airfield and last night, The Cure headlined the third day.<\/p>\n During the band\u2019s two-and-a-half hour headline set, The Cure dusted off \u2018Treasure\u2019, a rarely-played deep cut from 1996\u2019s \u2018Wild Mood Swings\u2019 which has only been performed a handful of times in recent years. \u201cThe next song is one that we don\u2019t play that much,\u201d singer Robert Smith <\/a>told the crowd. The chamber rock ballad about loss, inspired by the poem Remember by Christina Rosetti, sparked a brief section of \u2018Wild Mood Swings\u2019 songs, with \u2018Want\u2019 following directly on.<\/p>\n Fan-favourite tracks \u2018Trust\u2019, \u2018Charlotte Sometimes\u2019 and \u2018Prayers For Rain\u2019 were also performed as part of The Cure\u2019s headline set at Open\u2019er Festival, after making sporadic appearances elsewhere during the band\u2019s ongoing European festival run<\/a>. \u201cI knew we shouldn\u2019t have played \u2018Prayers For Rain\u2019,\u201d joked Smith when it started to rain during the final minutes of their set.<\/p>\n The Cure\u2019s headline slot at Open\u2019er Festival featured a career-spanning set organised into moods and eras. Lighter pop sections included a run of \u2018Push\u2019, \u2018In Between Days\u2019 and \u2018Just Like Heaven\u2019 as well as their famously upbeat encore of \u2018The Walk\u2019, \u2018The Lovecats\u2019 and \u2018Friday I\u2019m In Love\u2019. \u201cIt\u2019s a good time to play this one,\u201d Smith said before \u2018Friday\u2026\u2019, pulling his hood up against the rain. Smith recently teamed up with Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> for \u2018What\u2019s Wrong With Me\u2019<\/a>. It came after Smith said he\u2019d \u201cenjoyed a couple of memorable nights in the studio\u201d with<\/a> Rodrigo earlier this year, following his appearance as part of her headline slot at Glastonbury 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t believe this song exists with the person that it exists with,\u201d Rodrigo said of the collaboration. \u201cI\u2019m just so fucking over the moon [\u2026] I feel like I\u2019m gonna cry.
