Her cause of death hasn\u2019t been officially revealed, but actor Paddy Courtney said: \u2018Her life was stolen by cancer.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Slaine is survived by both her mum and dad, Marion and Joe, her brother Darragh and son Knox, who is 11.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Slaine-Kelly-5.jpg\" alt=\"Slaine Kelly\" class=\"wp-image-2166329\"\/>Slaine Kelly in The Tudors. Pic: Showtime<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The actress is best known by some for her role in the iconic 2009 Barry\u2019s Tea ad, which saw Slaine work alongside Love Hate actress Charlie Murphy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mum-of-one, who also worked as a film producer, is responsible for Irish comedy The O\u2019Briens, which she made and starred in. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"432\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Slaine-Kelly-2.jpg\" alt=\"Slaine Kelly\" class=\"wp-image-2166314\"\/><br \/>\nSlaine Kelly. Pic: VIP Ireland<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Slaine\u2019s death notice reveals she passed away peacefully at home in Dublin, with her family by her side. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The star also had a deep love of animals. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family,\u2019 the late star\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/rip.ie\/death-notice\/slaine-kelly-dublin-635428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">RIP.ie death notice<\/a> read. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018An actress, film producer, Slaine will be fondly remembered for her work, her spirit, and for helping to found St Anne\u2019s City Farm,\u2019 the statement read. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tributes poured in for Slaine, with actor Paddy Courtney writting: \u2018Her life was stolen by cancer, but her spirit of giddy curiosity &amp; divilment will live on in all those who knew her.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Slaine-Kelly-1.jpg\" alt=\"Slaine Kelly\" class=\"wp-image-2166315\"\/><br \/>\nSlaine Kelly.
