\n\tNetflix<\/a>\u2018s \u201cMyron Bolitar<\/a>\u201d drama series has cast its three lead roles. Variety has learned that Colin Woodell will star in the title role alongside KJ Apa<\/a> as Win Lockwood and Diane Guerrero<\/a> as Esperanza Diaz. <\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix originally announced the series pickup in May<\/a> as part of their upfront presentation to advertisers. The show is inspired by Harlan Coben\u2019s popular Myron Bolitar books, of which 12 have been published. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe logline for the show states, \u201cAfter an injury ends his NBA dreams, Myron Bolitar (Woodell) reinvents himself as a sports agent \u2014 using charm, smarts, and a ruthless partner to navigate the high-stakes and dirty world of sports, where saving his clients often means risking himself.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBolitar is further described as \u201cA former college basketball star whose NBA career came to an abrupt end, Myron reinvented himself as a sports agent. He built his agency \u2013 MB Sports \u2013 on an unwavering belief in overlooked athletes, with the same heart and fierce competitive drive he once brought to the court.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWoodell previously starred in the Netflix medical drama \u201cPulse\u201d and recently appeared in the HBO comedy series \u201cI Love LA.\u201d He is also known for starring in the \u201cJohn Wick\u201d prequel series \u201cThe Continental\u201d and for playing Buzz Aldrin in the Greg Berlanti \u201cFly Me to the Moon.\u201d His other TV credits include \u201cThe Flight Attendant\u201d at HBO Max. <\/p>\n

\n\tLockwood is said to be \u201cBorn into extraordinary privilege, Win walked away from the family business to build something of his own alongside his closest friend, Myron. Unflappable, endlessly resourceful, and fiercely loyal, he\u2019s the one Myron turns to when clients find themselves in trouble.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tApa is best known for his starring role in the hit CW series \u201cRiverdale,\u201d on which he played Archie Andrews for the show\u2019s entire seven-season run. He has also starred in features including \u201cThe Hate U Give,\u201d \u201cI Still Believe,\u201d \u201cThe Last Summer\u201d and \u201cThe Map That Leads To You.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDiaz is described as \u201cA former professional wrestler turned Myron\u2019s indispensable right hand at MB Sports. Armed with endless grit and razor-sharp wit, Esperanza is the backbone of the agency and the steady force keeping both Myron and clients in check.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tGuerrero broke out in her role as Maritza Ramos in the seminal Netflix series \u201cOrange Is the New Black,\u201d which ran for seven seasons. She is also known for starring in the critically-acclaimed CW show \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d and the DC series \u201cDoom Patrol\u201d at HBO Max. In film, she provided the voice of Isabela in the smash-hit Disney animated musical \u201cEncanto.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWoodell is repped by Entertainment 360. Apa is repped by UTA, Red11 Management, and Luber Roklin Entertainment. Guerrero is repped by Innovative Artists Entertainment, Entertainment 360, and Yorn Levine Barnes. <\/p>\n

\n\tDavid E. Kelley and Kyle Long serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers on \u201cMyron Bolitar,\u201d with Kelley executive producing via David E. Kelley Productions (DEKP). Matthew Tinker of DEKP will also executive produce along with Corben via Final Twist Productions and Rick Muirragui. Greg Yaitaines will executive produce and direct multiple episodes. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMyron Bolitar\u201d is the latest Netflix project based on Coben\u2019s work in recent year.
