Kriti Sanon recently got candid about how she got her eggs frozen around the time that she was preparing for filming her film about surrogacy, \u2018Mimi\u2019. She revealed that since the procedure causes a lot of bloating, and she had two months before the filming started to gain weight, she \u201csmartly\u201d took the time to get them frozen.In her conversation with Humans of Bombay, the actres further talked about the matter and shared, \u201cI spoke to someone who told me this is the best thing you can do for yourself if you can. It\u2019s the best gift that you can give yourself. It stayed on my mind. Then, when I was told to gain weight, I thought this was the right time to do it.\u201dShe also shared that the procedure causes a lot of \u201chormonal disruption\u201d and that she was going thorugh a lot of emotions at the time of getting the procedure done.<\/p>\n

As to how she landed on the decision, the actress shared that she thought quite a lot about the matter, and revealed that she never wanted to be \u201ctied down\u201d by the thought of \u201cneed(ing) to get married now, or I need to have kids now, and I\u2019m doing it because I have a timeline.\u201dShe further shared her opinions on marriage and kids, and revealed that it is something that a person should only get into once they feel ready to take that step. She mentioned, \u201cWhether its marriage, whether its kids, you need to do it when you feel it inside, you feel ready for it. You know, it shouldn\u2019t come out of some clock or a pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n
