Charli XCX<\/a> has announced plans for a series of album listening parties for \u2018Music, Fashion, Film<\/a>\u2018 in independent cinemas across the globe this week.<\/p>\n

The sessions will take place in the UK, North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Japan on July 9-11.<\/p>\n

Among the cinemas listed in the UK are the Castle Cinema in London and the Savoy Cinema in Stockport.<\/p>\n

\u2018Music, Fashion, Film\u2019 is set to land on July 24 and has previously been previewed with the tracks \u2018Wink Wink<\/a>\u2018, \u2018Rock Music<\/a>\u2019, and \u2018SS26<\/a>\u2019. You can pre-order it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The album\u2019s black and white cover is shot by Aidan Zamiri, and sees John Cale<\/a>, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese<\/a> posing together.<\/p>\n

In an interview this year, the artist told British Vogue\u00a0some of the lyrics to \u2018Rock Music\u2019\u00a0<\/a>\u2013 prompting speculation that the album would take a heavier direction.<\/p>\n

Charli later clarified<\/a> that she \u201cnever said\u201d she was making a rock album, but previously made it clear that she was distancing herself from the sound of \u2018Brat\u2019<\/a>, her seminal 2024 record.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Charli and Madonna were recently spotted partying together in Paris despite the Queen of Pop\u2019s \u201cdancefloor is dead\u201d comments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She later opened up about hanging out with the Queen of Pop saying she \u201cfound it very inspiring\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Charli also recently opened up about her mental health struggles, saying she has difficulty coming to terms with online discourse about her<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am finding it tough to \u2026 I don\u2019t know,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI\u2019m finding my emotions are very, very volatile at the minute, I\u2019ll be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Charli also opened up about her Indian heritage<\/a>, saying it can be \u201cdifficult\u201d to understand her \u201cidentity\u201d as a mixed-race person, after seeming to\u00a0make reference\u00a0to it in the lyrics to \u2018SS26\u2019.<\/p>\n
