The <a href=\"https:\/\/ai.meta.com\/blog\/introducing-muse-image-muse-video-msl\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Muse Image model<\/a> now powers the image-making tools across the Meta AI app, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and it\u2019s coming soon to Facebook and Messenger, <a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/news\/2026\/07\/introducing-muse-image-meta-ai\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to an announcement on Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">As noted by Meta, users can @ mention other Instagram accounts in Muse Image prompts, allowing the AI model to incorporate their likeness into its output. Meta says \u201ctagging a username lets Meta AI use public photos to build a visual,\u201d but notes that users can <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instagram.com\/652943337035777\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">control how people reuse<\/a> their content for AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Users can also transform images using suggested prompts and create designs for things like invitations and postcards. Additionally, Muse Image can redesign rooms based on an image pulled from Facebook Marketplace (or elsewhere on the web), and allows users to make changes directly to photos by drawing right on top of them, which they can then share to their feed, story, or chat. The Muse Image model will power the <a href=\"http:\/\/about.instagram.com\/blog\/announcements\/new-ai-effects-in-instagram-stories\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">30 new AI effects<\/a> coming to Instagram Stories in the US before rolling out to other countries and in more areas of Meta\u2019s apps soon.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Meta is launching the first AI image generation model made by its Superintelligence Labs division.
