Charli XCX has announced the tracklist for her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, which will include a collaboration with filmmaker David Cronenberg.<\/p>\n
The chart topper, known for songs including Boom Clap, I Love It, and her Brat album, which sparked a cultural phenomenon, has detailed the 11 songs from her seventh studio album, which will be released on 24 July.<\/p>\n
Charli XCX, 33, posted a racy snap on Instagram on Tuesday to announce the news, holding a white T-shirt detailing the tracks over her seemingly nude body.<\/p>\n
Beneath the post, Charli XCX, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, gave the titles and lengths of each track on the eagerly awaited album, which is 30 minutes long.<\/p>\n
The Cambridge-born star told her 9.1 million followers that the tracks will be Rock Music, SS26, Card Declined, Camera, 2007, I’m Afraid, Yeah, Wink Wink, Persona, and Magic Metal Montana.<\/p>\n
She said Canadian film director and screenwriter Cronenberg, renowned for work in the sci-fi and horror genres, will feature on the final track, titled No One Lasts Forever, which is almost six minutes long.<\/p>\n
The singer also posted a snap of herself sitting with Cronenberg in a music studio, which she said on her Instagram story was taken during a visit to Toronto to record their track together.<\/p>\n

Cronenberg, 83, is famed for his “body horror” films such as The Fly (1986), which stars Jeff Goldblum as a brilliant scientist who is transformed into a grotesque creature after an experiment goes wrong.<\/p>\n
The widely acclaimed filmmaker, producer, and actor is also known for films such as Videodrome (1983), Scanners (1981), Dead Ringers (1988), and A History of Violence (2005).<\/p>\n
Charli XCX also posted on her story a picture of herself on stage, with the backdrop behind her edited to say “Cronenberg summer” \u2013 referencing the “Brat summer” trend that followed the release of her 2024 album Brat.<\/p>\n
The record launched a cultural moment and caused a frenzy on social media, which involved sultry fashion choices inspired by the green-and-black album cover.<\/p>\n
Charli XCX announced the new album shortly after the release of her recent singles Rock Music and SS26, which were followed by accompanying B-side tracks only available on physical release and her dedicated Instagram account.<\/p>\n
She unveiled the title and cover of her new record last month.<\/p>\n
The cover features a black-and-white photo of musician John Cale, fashion designer Marc Jacobs, and filmmaker Martin Scorsese, tying in with its three focal themes. <\/p>\n

Charli XCX released her latest single, Wink Wink, almost two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
The new music follows her Wuthering Heights companion album to Emerald Fennell’s film of the same name earlier this year, as well as her film The Moment, a semi-fictional look at the release of Brat and the world tour that followed.<\/p>\n
She has also appeared in other film projects this year, including Pete Ohs’s Erupcja and Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights of Hero.<\/p>\n
