A popular Cork <\/a>jewellery brand is set to expand with a new location.<\/p>\n Ivy’s Attic, whose eye-catching purple container unit will be well known to Marina Market customers, has teased a new opening at Wilton Shopping Centre. The store will be open this summer, with the brand telling shoppers: “See you very soon.”<\/p>\n Owner Se\u00e1n Layton has been sharing updates on social media<\/a>, revealing in a TikTok clip that he’s had his eye on the unit for years. While it’s a tough time to open a business, he said he just couldn’t let the opportunity pass.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n Sharing some behind-the-scenes clips of doing up the unit, including a signature purple paint job, he said: “It may seem crazy to open another location in such uncertain times, but that’s just how we roll here at Ivy’s Attic.”<\/p>\n West Cork native Se\u00e1n recently celebrated six years in business. He started the business<\/a> back in 2020 as a hobby during the Covid lockdown. Se\u00e1n regularly travels across Europe in search of new pieces for his curated collection, offering a fantastic selection of vintage and independently made jewellery for Cork shoppers.<\/a> Customers can also shop online.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, a new Diesel outlet is opening at Wilton Shopping Centre soon. Jobs are already being advertised, <\/a>including sales assistant positions.<\/p>\n Wilton Shopping Centre, one of the first dedicated shopping centres in Munster when it opened in 1979, has seen a good bit of comings and goings in recent months.
