{"id":540990,"date":"2026-07-09T12:43:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T12:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/540990\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T12:43:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T12:43:11","slug":"aoife-walsh-shares-first-photo-from-legal-wedding-to-ben","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/540990\/","title":{"rendered":"Aoife Walsh shares first photo from legal wedding to Ben"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Less than a year after saying yes in a dreamy sun-soaked proposal, Aoife Walsh has said I Do!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former Miss Ireland and her love Ben tied the knot on Tuesday and celebrated their marriage at Raheen House Hotel ahead of their big wedding celebrations later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After posting a first look at their legal wedding day on Wednesday, Aoife has now shared several more photos of herself and Ben celebrating in a flower-filled garden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aoife, of course, opted for a white dress on their first big day, which had short sleeves and pearls throughout the fitted top as well as diamond-shaped cutouts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bottom half was where the real drama was, however, with it boasting a peplum layer with floral detailing before flowing out into a full tulle midi skirt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other photos taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ivanas.photography\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ivanas.photography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Ivana&#8217;s Photography<\/a> show Aoife hugging her daughter, Penny, and the new Mr and Mrs posing next to their cake, which was decorated with lots of pastel flowers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/aoife.jpg\" alt=\"Aoife Walsh's legal wedding ceremony. Pic: Ivana&#8217;s Photography \/ Instagram<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ben was also looking sharp for their legal ceremony, wearing a light grey suit with dark buttons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aoife, who <a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2026\/01\/24\/entertainment\/celebrity\/how-they-met-aoife-walsh\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2026\/01\/24\/entertainment\/celebrity\/how-they-met-aoife-walsh\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">met Ben on a dating app<\/a>, kept things simple in her photo captions, writing: &#8216;Legally yours forever &amp; always,&#8217; on her first post and &#8216;what dreams are made of&#8217; on her second.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The couple&#8217;s friends were delighted to see they were legally Mr and Mrs, with many sending their love in the comments and saying Aoife looked &#8216;stunning.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aoife and Ben <a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/09\/15\/entertainment\/aoife-walsh-engaged\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/09\/15\/entertainment\/aoife-walsh-engaged\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced their engagement<\/a> in September 2025 after he got down on one knee during a trip to Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/snapins-ai_3721611610520619706.jpg\" alt=\"Pic: Aoife Walsh\/Instagram\" class=\"wp-image-2034735\"  \/>Pic: Aoife Walsh\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was completely surprised by his proposal, saying: \u2018Ben did such an amazing job keeping it a surprise. I was not expecting it at all.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Best surprise of my life! Beyond thrilled, honestly so so happy! Literally on cloud 9 like can&#8217;t explain.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, they&#8217;ve gone from strength to strength, with Ben moving into Aoife&#8217;s home, which she shares with her young daughter, Penny. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SnapInsta-Ai_3769479734418582785.jpg\" alt=\"Aoife Walsh's fianc\u00e9, Ben, with her daughter, Penny. Pic: Instagram<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ben had been living in Cork but decided to move to Tipperary to be closer to his now-wife. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announcing he had moved in February, Aoife said: &#8216;Lots of change is happening at the moment, but all really positive and amazing stuff.
