The Jessop family will be returning to our screens again in a new series of Here We Go. Created by Tom Basden, the show stars Taskmaster’s Katherine Parkinson and Ghosts star Jim Howick as the heads of the Jessop family, Rachel and Paul, while Gavin & Stacey’s Alison Steadman portrays Paul’s jovial mother Sue. <\/p>\n

Freya Parks (This Town), Jude Morgan-Collie (A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder), and Basden, who also stars in the programme, portray the Jessop children, while Mica Ricketts (Best Interests), Tori Allen-Martin (Unforgotten), Ed Kear (The Batman), and Jon Furlong (The Last Kingdom) appear as the children’s respective partners and friends. <\/p>\n

Debuting in 2020, the show’s third season wrapped up in September 2025<\/a>, as the family endure more trials and tribulations, and now, a fourth season is currently underway.<\/p>\n

The cast will all be returning to their roles for the newest season, which promises to deliver more chaos to the Jessop family. <\/p>\n

That includes Rachel’s graduation and her pivot into political protesting, Paul’s ongoing work struggles, and Sue’s sleeping troubles, with Sam there to film it all on his handheld camera. <\/p>\n

Basden revealed in a statement that it was a “privilege” and “pleasure” to work with such an “incredible comedy cast”, adding: “We\u2019ve only just started shooting but it\u2019s already shaping up to be the best series yet!”<\/p>\n

There’s no official confirmation on when we could expect Here We Go series four to be released following its commission on October 2025. <\/p>\n

The last time the Jessop family was on our TV screens was the New Year’s Eve special<\/a>, titled Here We Go: Our New Year’s Firework Fantasaganza, which saw the family’s attempt to throw a successful New Year’s Eve party going horribly awry. <\/p>\n

However, there are also plans to take the series across the pond, as, according to Deadline<\/a>, a US version of Here We Go will be written by Matt Murray (The Good Place), with Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) set to executive produce for US production company Paper Kite. <\/p>\n
