Australians who work from home do less exercise, eat more food and are at greater risk of becoming obese, according to new research that opens a new front in the debate over the benefits of remote work.<\/p>\n

The findings, published in the Economic Papers journal, comes as the Allan government in Victoria prepares to introduce laws that<\/a> would give millions of workers in the state the right to work from home for two days a week, despite warnings from business leaders it will hurt investment and productivity.<\/p>\n
